For example, everyone tries to use sleeping bags from the same side, and if you're familiar with them, you can make sure to leave that side accessible. It's not always easy to tell which way around a lot of the beds are placed because most of them have bare mattresses, but you can get to know them by paying attention to subtle details like the head end being a little higher for some, or the pattern of stains having marks in a particular place, and every bed of a given type uses the same side. Double beds you want accessible from both sides since both are used, while single beds typically have one particular side you need to be accessible. I didn't know the first point about the actor value (so that's interesting to know), but when it comes to accessibility, it depends on the style of bed. Moving the beds so they have clearance to BOTH sides, is usually required. This pisses them off and makes them unhappy. Sometimes even so they want to go to the other side of the bed, and instead get stuck and stand at the blockage and stand all night. Pathing can be a pain at times, when you think a side of the bed is clean and clear. If it says "0.00", then it is not.Ģ) Beds need to be accessible. So one way to know for sure, is to open console while standing near a bed, click on the bed FRAME with the mouse (so you see a big number in perens like "(027f4dd1)", then type: "getav 334" and hit enter. You can generally assume that a bed in something you built, will be sheltered. ![]() Originally posted by Frigidman:A few things about beds:ġ) They need to be sheltered.
